Process control of the high pressure ground washing plant Oecotec 2000

In the cleaning and redevelopment process of the premises of the Thale Ironhut works, the relevant parameters were analysed such as the content of substances in the mother material (phenol, heavy metals, cyanide etc.) and the content of these substances at the end of the process i.e. in the water used to clean the material. In this way the performance of the cleaning unit was accurately assessed according to the prerequired objectives of the project.

Investigation into the neutralization and de-salination of a bromide-free KCl solution

For the neutralization and reduction of an un-neutralized, bromide-free KCl solution the most suitable processing methods were used within the framework of previous laboratory work. The effectiveness and workability of the chosen methods for reduction and neutralization of the solution was tested and the mechanics of the reaction were demonstrated.
