Performance

Complex mining mechanical observation of mining activities and other cavities such as safety relevant solutions

  • Identification of load behaviour through stress monitoring surveys by means of hydraulic fracturing
  • Underground deformation observations
  • Obtaining geotechnical data from inaccessible or displaced cavities
  • Photographic documentation of rock mechanical relationships
  • Assessment of the safety of miners' ascent routes
  • Observation of tunnels including rock cavities
  • Assessment of solution to hydrological problems as well as danger due to flammable gases
  • Complex surveillance of mine areas
  • Proof of the effect of filling and long-term geomechanical remote observation
  • Scientific consultation during renovation and decontamination of old mines, geotechnical characteristics of filling

Filling test in a waste mine

Kali-Umwelttechnik Sondershausen GmbH succesfully applied the following three methods of land fill:

  • On-site solidity investigations by means of static impression testing
  • Rammsondierung according to mine technical standard DIN 4094
  • Dynamic load pressure plate TB BF -StB, part B 8.3

Stress tests by means of hydraulic fracturing - in the framework of complex technical surveys and observation provide the guidelines for:

  • proof of safety and surveillance of mines in the operational phase,
  • mining dimension, management and extension surveys,
  • closing down operations,
  • safety analysis for the post-operational phase of mines,
  • the proof of safety for further use as permanent storage places or underground dumps,
  • validation of technical and economic projections for mining

Measuring system hydraulic fracturing

Plate loading test

Technology

  • Required diameter:
42mm or 46mm (special bore set)
  • Measurable bore hole lengths:
55m horizontal, 30m vertical at the ridges, 25m vertical on the level
  • Working pressure:
    40...63MPa
  • High performance sensor for pressure, volume and temperature measuring
  • Digital data recording
